It was a strange place; here and there, but nowhere
We were alone, you and me, and a hundred more
A place called home, but I’ve never been there
We laughed and conspired; kids on a playground
Two fools agreeing to secrets left unrevealed
The world wasn’t right; tilted the wrong way ’round
Gravity stopped. My heart rose without a clue
I was anchored and couldn’t fly to meet you
